How to Use

Dosage

One Zumenon tablet once a day.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water. You can take it with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day without breaks between packs to maintain a steady level of medicine in your body.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day. Your doctor will prescribe the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Zumenon if you are allergic to estradiol or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use Zumenon if you have or have had breast cancer, or if you suspect you have it.
  • Stop taking Zumenon and see a doctor immediately if you notice yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice), as this could be a sign of liver problems.
  • Stop taking Zumenon and see a doctor immediately if you experience painful swelling or redness in your legs, sudden chest pain, or difficulty breathing, as these could be signs of a blood clot.
  • Do not use Zumenon if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect you are pregnant.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D

The classification depends on the dosage form. Systemic use (for example estrogen patch, tablet, gel): Avoid use in older adults. In systemic use, consider potential adverse effects, such as risk of cardiovascular diseases and venous thromboembolism. Consider potential interactions.
