How to Use

Dosage

For adults and children over 10 years: 1–2 sprays in each nostril, up to 2–3 times a day. For children 6–10 years: 1 spray in each nostril, up to 2–3 times a day.

Method

Remove the protective cap. Hold the bottle upright and place the spray tip just inside one nostril while closing the other. Spray and inhale deeply through the nose at the same time, then repeat in the other nostril. Wipe the spray tip clean and replace the cap.

Important

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use for more than 5–7 consecutive days.

  • Visual disturbances

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to oxymetazoline hydrochloride or any other ingredient.
  • Do not use if you have taken MAO inhibitors (medicines for depression or Parkinson's disease) in the last two weeks.
  • Do not use if you have severe heart disease or cardiac asthma.
  • Do not use if you have high eye pressure (narrow-angle glaucoma).
  • Do not use if you have had surgery to remove your pituitary gland.

  • Do not use if the skin or mucous membranes in your nose are inflamed or have scabs.
  • Do not give this nasal spray to children under 6 years of age.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have high blood pressure.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have heart disease, such as angina pectoris.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have diabetes.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have thyroid disorders.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have an enlarged prostate.
  • If your symptoms do not improve after three days or if they worsen, contact your doctor.
  • Do not use for more than 5–7 consecutive days, as prolonged use can worsen nasal congestion.
