How to Use

Dosage

Adults and children over 4 years: 1-2 puffs as needed. For children under school age, use a special spacer device as directed by a doctor.

Method

Inhale through the mouth as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Use only when needed, not regularly every day.

Important

Do not take more than 4 doses (puffs) per day. Always talk to your doctor before changing your dose.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Tremor (shaking)
  • Headache
  • Fast heartbeat
RARE
  • Palpitations (heart pounding)
  • Mouth and throat irritation
  • Muscle cramps
  • Low potassium level in blood
  • Widening of blood vessels
  • Allergic reactions (e.g., swelling, rash, constricted airways, low blood pressure, fainting)
  • Hyperactivity
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Wheezing or difficult breathing right after using the medicine (paradoxical bronchospasm)
  • Chest pain

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to salbutamol or any other ingredient in the medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor before using if you have or have had heart problems, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, an overactive thyroid, or low potassium levels.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if your asthma symptoms worsen or if the medicine does not work as well as before.
  • Stop using the medicine and contact your doctor immediately if your breathing becomes difficult or wheezy right after taking it.
  • Stop using the medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you experience allergic reactions like swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or throat, rash, constricted airways, low blood pressure, or fainting.
