How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin areas twice a day, in the morning and evening before bed, or as your doctor tells you.

Method

This cream is for external use only on your skin. First, wash and dry the psoriasis areas. Wash your hands after each application. Do not swallow this medicine.

Important

Do not use more than 30 grams of cream per day, and do not treat more than one-third of your body's surface area (roughly one arm and one leg).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are taking oral medicine for calcium deficiency.
  • Do not use if you have kidney or liver disease.
  • Do not use if you have high calcium levels in your blood or a calcium metabolism disorder.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to calcitriol or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Apply the cream carefully to your face, as there is a higher risk of irritation there. Avoid getting it in your eyes.

  • Wash your hands after applying the cream to prevent it from getting on healthy skin.
  • Do not cover treated skin with bandages or dressings, as this can affect calcium levels in your body.
  • If you experience severe irritation or an allergic reaction, stop treatment and contact your doctor.
  • Do not smoke or go near open flames while using this product due to risk of severe burns. Fabrics (clothing, bedding, dressings, etc.) that have been in contact with this product burn more easily and can cause severe fire hazard. Washing clothes and bedding can reduce residues but may not completely remove them.
  • Do not use Silkis if you are breastfeeding.
  • There is limited information on using Silkis in children, so it should be avoided.
