How to Use
Dosage
About 1 cm of ointment into the affected eye(s) several times a day.
Method
Pull down your lower eyelid, place the tube's tip close to the eyelid gap, and look up. Squeeze out about 1 cm of ointment into the space between your lower eyelid and eye. Close your eye and blink to spread the ointment. If using eye drops too, apply the ointment last.
Important
No specific maximum daily dose is stated, but an overdose is not known to cause symptoms. Follow your doctor's instructions.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Temporary stinging in the eye.

RARE
- •Local skin reactions (like an itchy rash) due to being sensitive to wool alcohols.
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to vitamin A, dexpanthenol, wool alcohols, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- This eye ointment should not be used alone to treat pus-filled eye infections.
- Do not wear contact lenses while using Oftan A-Pant eye ointment.
