How to Use

Dosage

The recommended starting dose for adults and children over 12 years is 2 capsules in the evening.

Method

Take the capsules by mouth with enough liquid.

Important

Do not take more than 4 capsules in a single day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to sodium picosulfate or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe painful stomach problems with fever, nausea, or vomiting (e.g., appendicitis).
  • Do not use if you have inflammatory bowel disease or a bowel blockage.
  • Do not use if you have a serious fluid imbalance in your body.
  • Do not use this medicine every day for long periods without finding out why you are constipated. Long-term overuse can cause fluid and potassium problems.

  • Talk to a doctor before use if your constipation has lasted more than a week, if you've had stomach surgery, or if the user is under 12 years old.
  • Do not use this medicine to lose weight. It does not block calories and can cause serious harm.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking diuretics or corticosteroids, as high doses of LAXOBERON can affect electrolyte balance. Antibiotics might also lessen its effect.
  • If you are pregnant, only use this medicine if your doctor says it's okay.
  • This medicine might make you feel dizzy or faint. If this happens, do not drive or use machines until you feel better.
