How to Use

Dosage

Adults and children 7-12 years: 10-15 ml, 3-4 times a day. Children 3-6 years: 5 ml, 4-5 times a day. Children 1.5-2 years: 5 ml, 3 times a day. For children under 1.5 years: Only as your doctor tells you.

Method

Take this medicine by mouth.

Important

Adults and children 7-12 years: Do not take more than 60 ml in a day. Children 3-6 years: Do not take more than 25 ml in a day. Children 1.5-2 years: Do not take more than 15 ml in a day.

RARE
  • Allergic skin reactions, such as a rash or itching.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to kvillaja extract, ammonium chloride, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney or liver problems.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, always talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
  • This medicine contains a sugar called maltitol. If your doctor has told you that you cannot tolerate certain sugars, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine. It may also cause mild diarrhea.
  • This medicine contains alcohol. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have an alcohol problem, take other medicines, or if giving to young children, as the alcohol may make them sleepy.

  • This medicine contains ingredients called parabens (methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate) which may cause allergic reactions, sometimes not right away.
  • If you take too much of this medicine, or if a child takes it by mistake, contact a doctor or Poison Control Center right away for advice.
