How to Use
Dosage
The recommended dose is 50 mg/kg/day.
Method
Shake the bottle well before each dose and take the medicine by mouth, divided into 2 or 3 doses for mild infections.

The maximum daily dose is 50 mg/kg, divided into multiple doses.

Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to cefalexin, other similar antibiotics (cephalosporins), or any other ingredient in the medicine.
- Do not take this medicine if you have previously had a severe allergic reaction (such as a rash or swelling of the face and throat) to penicillins or other similar antibiotics.
- Contact a doctor immediately if you develop a severe rash, skin peeling, blisters, or mouth sores.
- Talk to your doctor before use if you have kidney problems, gut inflammation (colitis), or acute porphyria.
- Tell your doctor if you have previously experienced a rash or other allergic symptoms with penicillins or other antibiotics.
Use in Elderly Patients
Category C
