How to Use

Dosage

Use exactly as your doctor has told you. Usually, the smallest possible amount.

Method

Apply a thin layer to small skin areas.

Important

Avoid using on large skin areas or for long periods, especially in children.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Skin thinning, which can make the skin fragile or paper-like and surface blood vessels more visible.
  • Stretch marks, bruising, red spots on the skin, widened surface blood vessels, and local redness.
  • Inflammations in the treated skin areas.
  • Changes in skin color (lightening or darkening of the skin).
  • Decreased adrenal gland function (when the medicine is used extensively or for a long time).
  • Allergic skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions.
  • Increased hair growth.
  • Worsening of psoriasis, such as pustules.
  • Blurred vision.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to betamethasone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have skin infections, such as impetigo, chickenpox, or fungal infections.
  • Do not use for rosacea, acne, or rashes around the mouth.
  • Do not use for children under 1 year old with a rash.
  • Avoid use on the face, around the eyes, armpits, and skin folds. Use on these areas only for short periods and small amounts.

  • If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 2–4 weeks, contact your doctor.
  • Be careful not to get the medicine in your eyes.
  • Do not use on large areas or for a long time during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, do not apply to the breasts.
